In this video, I restore a 1978 Mata Hari Pinball Machine MATA HARI (Solid State) was a pinball game released in April 1978 by Bally, and with a production run of 16,260 units, it is the ninth most produced Pinball machine in history. The theme is loosely based upon the sensationalized legend of Mata Hari, aka Margaretha Zelle (1876-1917) who was a popular exotic dancer throughout the early 20th century. She was accused and convicted in France of “Consorting with the Enemy” during World War I, which led to her being executed by firing squad.
In this video I replace the stock Williams/Bally sound board and speakers in a 1993 Addams Family Pinball machine.
In Part 1 of this Data East restoration, I will be concentrating on the back head unit, installing NVRAM, replacing all the bulbs with LED's and replacing the speakers. Also some general clean up.
In Part 2 of this video I will be restoring the playfield of a Data East TMNT pinball machine. This includes new LEDS, Star Post lights, additional lighting and plastic restoration.
In Part 3 of this restoration I will be concentrating on under the playfield - Flipper rebuilds, coil sleeve changes and general cleanup.
